Acidity and alkalinity are measured according to the pH value. Pure rain water has a pH of 7 and it is considered to be neutral. Every pH value below 7 is acidic, and the values above seven are considered to be alkaline.

We give you a simple way to achieve an alkaline effect on your body:
- 67 oz / 2l of clean and filtered water
- 1 organic lemon, washed, cut into eighths (or slices)
- 1 tsp Himalayan salt (available in DM, and healthy food stores)
- Fill a pitcher, and add the lemon slices (do not squeeze the lemon!)
- Then add a teaspoon of Himalayan salt, cover, and let it rest overnight (8 to 12 hours) at room temperature.
