Add the other ¼ cup of water, the honey and salt in another pot and place it on the stove on medium heat. Your mix needs to achieve precisely 240 degrees, and you can use a sweet thermometer in order to measure it.
You can likewise check by sipping a bit from the liquid in a bowl filled with cold water. When you do that it is supposed to remain in a candy stage and form a small soft ball. You are going to reach that temperature level after a period of seven to eight minutes.
