Juniper Berries – Natural Insulin For Your Body

The juniper tree is an evergreen tree which has dim purple juniper berries with fragrant and resinous smell, and a piney, bittersweet flavor.

The whole tree possesses healing properties, but it is its berries that are utilized as a part of the traditional medicine.

We should point out that just ripe biennial juniper berries with dark purple color possess healing characteristics. But remember that their healing properties aren’t developed when they are still green and 1 year aged, so don’t use them.

Juniper berries contain essential oil which gives this tree its healing properties.

This essential oil can reach the deepest places in a person’s body, where antibiotics are unable to enter. Adding these berries to your daily diet has numerous advantages.

These berries are part of the herbal medicine to protect respiratory, urinary, nervous, and digestive system, to improve the action-reaction organism response, to help treat catarrh in lungs, coughing, and other respiratory illnesses.

They also prevent cancer and kidney diseases, function as a blood purifier, treat arthritis, diabetes, and more.

Since diabetes is considered as an old disease with tons of people fighting it for centuries, we’ve focused on the possible benefits from juniper berries consumption in the treatment of this disease.

These berries speed up wound healing, improve digestion, and increase the cells’ intake of glucose from the circulation.

Many researches proved that once juniper berries are digested in the body, they possess similar properties and lower the blood sugar levels just like the insulin produced by pancreas.
