  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • 1 tsp. of green tea (15 g)

What should you do?

  • Heat the water. When it reaches a boil, add the green tea.
  • Let it steep for a few minutes so the tea releases all its properties.
  • Allow to cool until it is palatable, strain the liquid, and drink two cups a day.

2. Chamomile tea

Chamomile tea is a great option for reducing abdominal swelling. This tea is also recommended for other conditions, such as menstrual pain, stomach and intestinal problems, diarrhea, nausea, dizziness, and heartburn.

Since it has antispasmodic, sedative, and relaxing properties, it improves your overall physical state.


  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)
  • 1 tbsp. of chamomile (15 g)

What should you do?

  • Heat the water and add the chamomile.
  • Let it steep for a few minutes, strain, and drink when it cools to a good temperature.

3. Lemon Beebrush

This herb is probably the least known on the list. Its properties are becoming increasingly well known among nutritionists, however. The plant has a lemon scent and diverse medicinal properties in the leaves.


  • 2 tbsp. of lemon beebrush leaves (30 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)

What should you do?

  • Heat the water and once it boils, add the lemon verbena leaves.
  • Allow this to steep to concentration the properties of the herb in the water.
  • Strain and drink this tea twice a day.

4. Mint tea

Mint is a good option for reducing abdominal inflammation thanks to active compounds that relax the walls of your stomach.


  • 2 tbsp. of dried mint leaves (30 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)

What should you do?

  • Add the dried mint leaves to the cup of boiling water.
  • Let steep for 10 minutes.
  • Then, strain the liquid and drink this twice a day.

5. Ginger

This root is well known for all its benefits when it comes to respiratory and rheumatic conditions. Another bonus, however, is the ability of ginger tea to deal with stomach and intestinal problems.


  • 3 tbsp. of ginger (45 g)
  • 1 cup of water (250 ml)

What should you do?

  • Heat the water and when it boils add the ginger. It can be grated or sliced.
  • Let this steep for five minutes, strain, and drink twice a day.
